Some short words about Mikael Neumann

It is no wonder that Mikael Neumann has performed before Kings, Queens, Prime Ministers and Presidents! Born in Copenhagen into a family of exceptional talent and notoriety, a home filled with music, and mentored by generations of artistically renowned family members, it is also no surprise that Mikael has, over the past 46 years, continued to display his well honed skills as guitarist, singer, comedian and writer. He is an all-round world class entertainer with an abundantly rich musical heritage. His grandfather was a cellist in the Royal Danisch Orchestra, his grandmother a sidekick to the legendary Victor Borge, his mother a well known Swedish actress and singer. Mikael’s father, Ulrik, a world renowned guitarist and showman, along with one of the world’s greatest jazz violinists and equally fine showman, Svend Asmussen, and the great Swedish singer, Alice Babs collaborated to form the super group, The Swe-Danes, once the rage of Europe and abroad. As a member of 3 X Neumann (father Ulrik and sister Ulla ”Sniff”, Mikael has performed alongside other musical giants - Toots Thielemans, Catarina Valente, Stephanne Grappelli, and has been featured in concerts for as many as 30,000! It doesn’t get much better than that!
